Olympia Greek Taverna and Dave’s Sports Bar in Kelowna’s Rutland area have teamed up on a new program, providing a service to their customers to drive them and their cars home for a nominal fee.  After the recent tightening-up of drinking and driving laws, the owners of Olympia and Dave’s put their heads together to develop a program that helps both their clients and their businesses.

I talked with Ryan, one of the owners of Mug ‘a Java Beans and Bistro about the upcoming move to a brand new building just a few doors down. They have purchased the old Rutland Pet Hospital building on Highway 33, demolished it, and they now have plans for a beautiful new building in it’s place. The new building will house a new expanded restaurant on the first floor and the owner’s personal residence on the 2nd and 3rd floor. It’s a creative new concept and it’ll be a great new addition to the Uptown Rutland Town Centre.
