Christmas Trees in Kelowna – Fresh Cut
If you’re looking to make picking your next Christmas tree a little more of an experience than fighting traffic to get to the local big box store parking lot to buy a tree from “who knows where”… but you’re not quite adventurous enough to head out into the woods, we happen to have some of the greatest “choose your own” Christmas tree farms right here in the Rutland area of Kelowna. These are farms where you can make a fun family event out of picking your Christmas tree. We’ve been getting our tree from the same place (1430 McKenzie Road) every year for the last seven years and our kids recount the memories every year.

Kids can play with the friendly dogs, visit the sheep, and have a ride on the “tractor” (it’s a John Deere Gator but my kids call it a tractor) up to the warm fire pit to enjoy hot apple juice. A great experience and the nicest people you will ever meet. Their tree are cultured but they don’t like to over-shape them so each tree is unique and has a more natural look (trees are $26 each).

Bring the whole family and take a fun walk through the trees as you choose the one that is just right for you, then warm up around our large fire pit with a hot drink while they shake and bale your tree.
